Doesn't WhatsApp already transcribe voice notes for free?
It does, but you have to tap every voice note. MuteRead transcribes every voice note you get on its own, summarizes the key points and tasks, translates other languages and fixes the names you teach it. It's the difference between reading a voice note and acting on it.
Do I need to download an app?
No. You connect the WhatsApp you already use with a QR code, just like WhatsApp Web. Nothing to install or update.
Do you keep my voice notes?
No. The audio is downloaded, transcribed and discarded right away. The text is only kept if you turn on history in the dashboard.
Which languages work?
English, Portuguese, Spanish, Hindi, Indonesian, Turkish, Arabic and dozens more. MuteRead detects the language on its own, and translation into your language comes with Plus and above.
What's the maximum length?
Up to 16 MB per voice note, WhatsApp's own limit. In practice, more than 30 minutes of speech.
How do I cancel?
Anytime, no fees. Click “Manage subscription” in the footer, sign in with the email you used to pay and cancel in the portal. Or contact support.
